Meghan Markle defended by European royalty after feud with father takes new turn

Tessy Antony, Princess of Luxembourg, rushed to support Meghan who is at the centre of a very public row with her father Thomas Markle and half-sister Samantha Grant She has also become the target of vicious trolls who have used social media to send racist and sexist comments and even claim she is faking her pregnancy Responding to a post on Twitter in support of the duchess by Royal Central, the princess urged social media users to “stay kind”  Princess Tessy said: “No one deserves that. One should never assume. Either you know or be quiet  “It’s not nice to talk badly about someone else just because one can, as he or she takes advantage of the anonymity of the web  “Stay Kind!!! It’s the new cool! She does not deserve that.” It comes after five of Meghan’s friends last week spoke out against “global bullying” in an extraordinary interview with US magazine People  One said: “Meg has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths, we worry about what this is doing to her and the baby  “It’s wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they’re pregnant ” Meghan’s unnamed pals revealed that the 37-year-old wrote a letter to her father following the royal wedding, after he claimed to have been “ghosted” by the duchess in a string of interviews  And they insisted Meghan was never close to her half-sister and half-brother Thomas Markle Jr, who have repeatedly attacked her since they were not invited to her Windsor wedding  One of Meghan’s friends said: “They have been made to appear as siblings who had this falling out, and that’s not the truth at all They were not a part of her life.” However, the interview by the duchess’s inner circle prompted Mr Markle to release Meghan’s letter yesterday  Mr Markle told the Mail on Sunday: “I thought it would be an olive branch. Instead, it was a dagger to the heart ” And hours later, Ms Grant lashed out at her half-sister, branding Meghan a “narcissist”  It is not known if Meghan’s friends gave the bombshell interview at her request. But former Buckingham Palace press secretary Dickie Arbiter warned that it has “opened a Pandora’s box” if it was done with Meghan’s approval  Mr Arbiter told the Daily Mail: “Assuming – and as these sources are anonymous we don’t know for sure – that this was done with her agreement, it has opened a Pandora’s box  “The issue with her father is an open wound and I’m not entirely sure it is the best idea to aggravate that ”
